About Trinity Cord Co.
Our Story
Trinity Cord Co. is a family-run firewood operation in Red Oak, Texas, serving Ellis County and the wider DFW Metroplex. We season our Oak the right way — split, stacked, and air-cured under cover until the moisture is low and the burn is clean. No green wood, no hissing fires, no guesswork.
Every load is sorted by split length and stack size so you know exactly what’s showing up in your driveway, with clear online pricing and no phone-tag. When you need something to hold it all, we build heavy-duty steel firewood racks by hand right here in North Texas — the same racks we use at home.
Sized for real life
Why we sell by the stack
A traditional cord measures 128 cubic feet of tightly stacked firewood and is based on a 4-foot stack depth.
At Trinity Cord Co. we take a more practical approach. Our Texas hardwood is cut to approximately 17 to 21 inches, making it easier to handle and better suited for today’s fireplaces, fire pits, and outdoor living spaces.
We sell by the actual stack size you receive. That means you know exactly what you’re ordering and what will be delivered.

Our Promise
What shows up in your driveway
Seasoned, not green
Air-cured under cover until moisture drops below 20% — it lights fast, throws real heat, and leaves less creosote behind.
Sorted by the cut
One consistent 17-21 inch split length in an oak and hickory mix, sold by the actual stack size you receive.
Clean wood, every load
Mold free, chemical free, and bug free. Nothing treated, nothing painted, nothing you would not burn at home.
Clean Burn Commitment
Chemical free. Mold free. Bug free.
We never treat, paint, or spray our wood, and we never take in pallets, construction scrap, or anything that has been chemically handled. Every load is split, covered, and air-cured so it dries instead of rotting — then checked before it goes on the truck.
For you that means no musty smell in the garage, no beetles or carpenter ants riding into the house on a wheelbarrow load, and no chemical fumes in a fire your family sits next to. It is wood you can stack indoors, burn in an open fireplace, and cook over without thinking twice.
